We want to add joy and a sense of direction to young people’s lives by providing confidential operations, hobby opportunities, trainers and facilities. Nuorten Kulma in Hyvärilä provides the following services: The youth services of the City of Nurmes, Youth Centre Nuorten Kulma of the municipality of Juuka, and the youth services of the municipality of Valtimo.
Nuorten Kulma youth work:
• supports the growth and independence-building processes of young people
• promotes active citizenship and social empowerment among young people
• improves the growth and living conditions of young people
• improves young people’s chances of participation and being heard
• provides guidance for upbringing
• includes providing facilities, organising hobby opportunities and promoting international youth work
